We’ll be trading in sticks for clubs when the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins host the GOAL IN ONE Golf Tournament, presented by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, on Sunday, July 23 & Monday, July 24.
The event will get underway with a VIP cocktail reception at 6pm on Sunday evening at the Courtyard Scranton Montage Mountain.
Golfers will be able to rub elbows with former & current Penguins players, coaches and executives, while enjoying light fare prepared by Chef Stephen Schappert, the team’s executive chef.
Participants will then take to the links at Fox Hill Country Club in Exeter on Monday for the captain and crew tournament. Continental breakfast will be available during registration at 9am, and the first tee shots will fly with a shotgun start at 10am.
A cocktail hour and awards ceremony will take place following the tournament at the course.
Proceeds from the two-day event will benefit the Penguins GOALS Foundation, whose mission is to make youth sports more accessible to all children, regardless of social or economic background.
Registration for foursomes, as well as event sponsorships, is open now. To sign your team up please visit https://wbshockeyllc.formstack.com/forms/golf
