2023 FROZEN POND CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT

Cornhole is cool, and we’re making even cooler by taking it to the ice.

Join the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins as they host the second Frozen Pond Cornhole Tournament at the Toyota Sportsplex on Thursday, April 6th, 2023.

When is Cornhole?

Registration will be at 6:00 pm; bags fly at 6:45 pm.

Registration is LIMITED

The tournament will be a 4-Game Round Robin format for seeding, then teams will compete in a single elimination bracket. Every team is guaranteed five games. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in Competitive and Social category.

Competitive:

• 1^st place – Trophy (2) – $250 Cash- 4 vouchers good for a Penguins Game – Penguins Swag Bags (2)
• 2^nd Place – $150 Cash- 2 vouchers good for a Penguins Game – Penguins Swag Bags(2)
• 3^rd Place – $50 Cash– Penguins Swag Bags (2)

Social:

• 1^st place – Trophy (2) – 4 vouchers good for a Penguins Game – Penguins Swag Bags (2)
• 2^nd Place – 2 vouchers good for a Penguins Game – Penguins Swag Bags (2)
• 3^rd Place – Penguins Swag Bags (2)

What Happens to the Proceeds?

All proceeds will benefit the Penguins GOALS Foundation, an organization committed to removing barriers by making youth sports more accessible, supporting education, and promoting the overall well-being of our region by creating and supporting local programs.
