PENGUINS SEND FOUR TO WHEELING

  Penguins Send Four To Wheeling   WILKES-BARRE, Pa. –The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they loaned forwards Cody Chupp and Matt Rust and defenseman Cody Wild to the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.  In addition, defenseman Philip Samuelsson has been assigned to the Nailers by the Pittsburgh Penguins.   Chupp has registered a goal and four assists in 15 games with the Penguins this season.  The Big Rapids, MI native has also recorded 14 goals, 15… read more

PENGUINS SIGN FOGAL TO PTO

Penguins Sign Fogal to PTO WILKES-BARRE, Pa. –The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed goaltender Brad Fogal to a professional try-out agreement.    Acquired from Cincinnati by the Kalamazoo Wings (ECHL) on February 21, Fogal had posted a 4-4-0 record for the Cyclones with a 2.78 goals against average and a .901 save percentage.  The rookie netminder began 2011-12 with the Quad City Mallards of the Central Hockey League, where he went 6-2-0 in… read more
